At Home in Maine

My parents brought me to Maine at the age of 9. They always modeled for me and my sister the importance of community engagement and volunteerism. They showed me what it means to show up for our neighbors and to stand up for what’s right.

I’ve carried those lessons into my life through active participation in many community organizations and projects. Whether it means rolling up my sleeves to offer my time and skills as a plumber, or supporting the food pantry or organizing a fundraiser to help business owners and residents struggling from the impact of flooding- I know the importance of showing up.

My community involvement is also fueled by living in a city and state where neighbors are always helping neighbors. Hallowell has been home for more than 20 years. I live in one of the best neighborhoods in Maine with my wife, Alex, and our 2 pups.

When I’m not serving on committees, pitching in on local projects or attending community events, I take every opportunity I have to enjoy this amazing place. I’ve spent many, many days hiking, camping, fishing and snowshoeing. While I also love to travel to far away places, I feel so fortunate to live in a place that I’m excited to come home to.
